About Us
prototypeD is a collaborative design studio, specializing in technology, engagement, architecture and media. Our non-profit design centre is open for creatives and artists from all backgrounds to come and explore new opportunities, join for-profit design teams, learn from co-learning workshop sessions, and leverage the latest technology for their projects. pD’s unique membership model allows creatives to also find exciting and profitable employment opportunities on various consulting work and pro-bono community design. Our ever-growing team has completed dozens of projects ranging from personal products to large $30m innovation centres and infrastructure projects. In 2014 we are launching our Billion Dollars of Design initiative to re-imagine a more inclusive, sustainable, and profitable Ottawa.
