About Us
Micieli Design Workshop is a firm specialized in Industrial Design that integrates Design Thinking and proposes the Value Boosting Design, a structured path for a User Centered innovation through empathy and creativity.
Our main goal is to propose an effective pattern for a successfull innovation, putting the “Persona” at the center, leveraging on three pillars: the desirability of the solution, its feasibility and profitability.
You will be guided through three phases:
The value brief, the user-centered solution and the value project management. This methodology for innovation will take place within a multi-functional team, also including, when needed, the users or customers.
1a. Value Brief
Since Design is a transversal approach, a rigorous process is needed for its application, because it concerns the use and not only, as often happens, the technical or purely aesthetic side.
1b. User-centered solution
Design is interaction between the user and the object.
The key words are: ease of use and emotion, always having the question in mind: What job does my product do for the user?
This allows us not only to feed the brief with opportunities for creating value, but also to map and validate technologies and functionalities useful for the desired solution.
2. Industrial Design. Value project Management
At this point Industrial Design starts and we move from the user-centered value-brief to the tangible product and related services.
In the research for new product concepts it is very important to translate the information that emerged during the previous phases into concrete and tested solutions.
To do this we need to guide and implement the design, prototyping and optimization phases.
In this way the conditions are created for the realization of a validated and engineered solution, suitable for manufacturing and selling within the planned times.
