Glartique is brought to you by designer, artist and maverick Ashley Phillips. Ashley has been a professional artist & designer in one form or another for 27 years.

Ashley is passionate about sustainable design, biomimicry and mental health.

At Glartique they love to experiment with new materials and technologies, often blending traditional production methods with the latest cutting edge tools. Glartique develops ideas organically and currently has several R&D projects with numerous patents (hopefully) on their way.

Surface art / creating art with function, would be the best way to describe Glartique's unique offering. From bespoke printed toughend glass splashbacks to laser engraved back lit mirrors, limited edition printed art on brushed aluminium, printed tiles, and Corian, public art installations and giant hand painted murals, original oil canvases and glow in the dark products.

which works equally well in home, restaurants, hotels or office environments.

We are big supporters of the Designers Accord 4 steps. Advance the understanding of environmental and social issues from a design perspective by actively contributing to the communal knowledge base for sustainable design.

Ashley volunteers at JAMI (Jewish Association of Mental Illness) as their Sustainability Champion; he sits on the Eco-Synagogues steering committee: working to transform 5 synagogues (to start with) in North London and their congregations. Ashley has been a regular contributor to the London Mayors environmental and pollution think-tank workshops. Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK.
