219 worked with the team at Andromeda Surgical to accelerate the development of their robotically-assisted prostate surgery device. We helped to:
-Swiftly bring the vision to life, putting Andromeda on the path to progress from initial concept to successful clinical use within just 18 months
-Analyze the HoLEP procedure and determine how to improve the experience of this surgery for surgeons, surgical support staff, and patients using a robotic platform
-Develop a proof-of-concept prototype of the HoLEP automation system
-Refine the interface between the robot arm and surgical instrument based on usability testing
-Design an improved cable management system
