We are focused on the art of building. The name Drophouse, comes from a fabrication term, drop, which refers to left over, or scrap material left when a piece of material is cut and house, a place for living. We believe in responsible design and construction and use recycled or reclaimed materials where possible, and responsibly sourced materials when not. Our philosophy extends beyond just materials though, and we strive to create not just environmentally friendly buildings and furniture, but socially responsible as well. In construction and fabrication, our goal is to create heirloom quality objects that will last not just our lifetime, but be around for the next generation. Basically, we build it sturdy and expect it not only to last, but to continue to fit your needs for a long time to come.
