Cor is neutral and non-intimidating, an object that the user will be proud to display anywhere in the home and use on a regular basis. In designing the product, Y Studios wanted to capture the sentiment of personal, comfort and tranquility with the appropriate aesthetic expression that will convey an emotional satisfaction of using Cor.
The wide base of the Cor Reader connotes stability, while the forward facing angle encourages the user to engage with it anytime. A comprehensive CMF (colors, materials, finishes) strategy was used to highlight the premium quality in a wellness product, while individualizing the experience for the user. Our CMF recommendations have definitive aesthetic cues that can be applied on to different parts in the product to convey certain features, functionality or ease of use. Selected colors are applied on the Cor Cartridges so that users can be assigned specific colors for personalization and privacy.
