About Us
NSpired Communities is a production of two soft-spoken individuals, and represents a team of land planners, architects, engineers, contractors, designers and other professionals who are visionary. They are experienced in the design and construction of innovative, green, sustainable communities, and anticipate bringing their expertise out of the box, beyond any design ever before contemplated. We have married this mastermind group with a team of visionary designers of alternative energies, disruptive technologies that will truly make our communities transformative. This will result in a paradigm shift in community economics, total operational efficiency, community education, arts and support systems and a rebirth of community social networking. The following plan represents one of about ten planned communities we will be introducing to the world.
Our communities will have the flexibility to incorporate newer technologies as they are brought to market, including power, water, waste management, along with upgrades to conservation and ecology. This will keep our communities at the forefront of earth-sensitive living.
The Living Solution:
Inspired Communities represents a quantum leap forward in green sustainable, environ-mentally conscious and friendly communities. In fact, we envision setting aside the standard “green” label in favor of “transformational”. Why?
• We will build communities with a minimum goal of net zero energy use.
o Energy Provider - Our ultimate goal is to have communities generate 3-5 times the amount of energy they actually use creating a micro-grid. In essence, we become the energy provider for the community.
o Excess Energy Profits - Monthly revenue from excess energy creates a community that lives in abundance, supporting community activities such as educational seminars, art & music festivals, paying down mortgages for all members of the community, offering day care programs, senior events. In addition, each community will support sister communities in third world countries, grounding the entire community in the knowledge that they all play supportive, positive humanitarian needs.
o Technology Innovations - We will accomplish this by enlisting a myriad of advanced energy technologies (see Technology Description below).
o Exemplary Model Eco-Minded Community - Our communities will demonstrate to the world the viability of our technology goals.
• We will transform living environments.
o We will incorporate year-round community gardens.
- Production of fresh produce, fruit and other food items can be as much as ten times higher productivity when compared to normal standards within a given footprint.
- Community members can earn food and service credits by helping with the gardens.
- Everyone wins in these exchanges. Everyone has the full, ongoing opportunity to “make a difference” and be rewarded no matter how small their contribution.
o We will dramatically increase walkability, bicycling and outdoor exercising.
- Driving lanes will be narrowed to slow vehicular traffic.
- Pedestrian and bicycle lanes will be incorporated.
- Landscaping will be increased to provide a safe, walk-friendly environment.
- Wilderness trails will encourage hiking in the summer, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter.
o Roads, driveways, decks and patios will be thermostatically heated to provide snow melt.
- No snow plows or shoveling: This will eliminate the need for snow plows and snow removal areas.
- Lower Maintenance & Upkeep Costs: It will eliminate damage done to streets and curbs by snow plows, eliminate the air pollution caused by the diesel engines, and reduce the overall maintenance and upkeep costs.
o We will have active community centers which will provide:
- Entertainment: We will provide special halls for productions and demon-strations – plays, musical talent, reciting.
- Participation: We will encourage participation from all ages, school children to retirees.
- Art Classes/Studios: We will have special artist studios, where people can practice their art in a variety of disciplines.
- Community Activity Centers: We will have one or more general gathering places designed for interactivity such as games, discussion or book groups, fitness, presentations, family gathering areas.
o We will have daycare. Adult daycare on one end of the building, child daycare on the other end. We will provide incentives for intermingling.
o We will incorporate a full range of community friendly recreational facilities.
- Covered tennis courts so the sport can be enjoyed throughout the year, especially during the winter months.
- A year-round ice arena will fill the need for families with children in hockey.
- A boys and girls club will create a safe and enriching environment for after school activities, particularly for families where one or both spouses work more than one job.
