About Us

Founded in 1957, J&J Industries, Inc. is a family-owned and operated commercial carpet manufacturer producing carpet under the J+J/Invision brand. J+J/Invision is the solution to compromise, committed to providing high-quality, innovative broadloom and modular carpet products, seamlessly uniting design vision with budget. The company bridges quality with sophisticated design, creating a broad spectrum of front office and back office coordinates for any commercial environment. From specification through installation, the company stands behind its products and customers every step of the way.

In response to a need for an organized environmental program, J+J/Invision created EnAct® in 1991. This is an organization-wide focus on reducing, recycling, reusing and creating a healthier, more sustainable environment. The goal of EnAct is to diminish the environmental impact of the company’s facilities by reducing waste of raw materials, energy and water in every department of the business. J+J/Invision seeks to reduce the atmospheric emissions and improve the quality of water returned to local treatment facilities. The company continually seeks to recycle or reuse whenever possible, granting new life to what were once exclusively waste products.

In keeping with our focus on the environment, J+J/Invision offers sustainable product solutions. Nearly all J+J/Invision products contain recycled content and through our post consumer recycling program, can be recycled, ensuring they never reach a landfill. Another recycling initiative, R4® , also offers J+J/Invision’s clients an opportunity to take action. Created with the goal that no architect folders or carpet samples will reach a landfill, the R4® (Return, Reuse, Recycle, Reduce) program means the company will take back all carpet architect folders and samples, regardless of manufacturer, and guarantee they will not be land filled.

J+J/Invision has also introduced eKo®, a PVC-free modular backing system. In addition to containing post consumer recycled content, eKo provides closed-loop recyclability, meaning that once the life of the carpet is complete, the face fiber and backing can be recycled into new eKo backing. eKo is lighter in weight than traditional PVC backing and contains no chlorine. This backing also contributes to many environmental rating systems, including LEED.
