The Procter & Gamble brand has a reliable and steady following in the global market. In an effort to produce greater consistencies across the brand, Design Central was asked to refine the Swiffer 360° Duster product and create a common offering for the American and European markets. The project was based on improving the current performance of the product, while crafting a common handle and pad attachment without losing the price competitiveness in either market. A common handle would increase the efficiencies for the overall supply chain as well. The new handle, while integrating the Swiffer brand aesthetic, also improves the ergonomics and creates an original proprietary geometry for the pad attachment. The once flat duster pad now expands in fullness while being secured to the newly enhanced fork.
