Kodak Easyshare V-570 Digital Camera

Client: Eastman Kodak Company

Technology eventually catches up to what consumers want in a camera. Of course, they want it small and compact, but In this case they also want a high zoom factor with an ultra wide-angle lens in a single camera. BlueMap and the design team of Kodak developed an appealing camera body to elevate Kodak's brand identity so consumers would see the company as more creative and innovative. To achieve this, we took advantage of the compactness of prism lenses, that never extend from the camera body, to design a small, sleek package less than an inch thin with the lens positioned in the center rather than on the right to create a strong focal point.
Surrounding the lenses is a watch-like, thin metalized plastic band that takes center stage. This eye-catching approach gives the V-570 an elegant, balanced, and iconic look and feel. Its body is constructed so finely, made of metal and plastic, it shimmers at the first sight of it. Most people will have no trouble picking it up because the minimalist button layout is so simple and intuitive to use.
Technically, "innovation" is defined merely as "introducing something new;" but this goes beyond new and has helped Kodak set a whole new standard for ultra-compact cameras. Its stylish black metal panels, low-profile controls, and very thin size rank the V-570 among the more fashionable digital cameras in the marketplace.
