Marisa Lupo & Luisa Maringola have been making homes more beautiful for over 20 years in Richmond Hill, Aurora, King City, & Thornhill, Ontario.
This successful duo has established a reputation well-known for their approachable personalities & ability to underst& each client’s needs. Together with you, they design your home to reflect your needs & personal sense of style.
They listen, provide experienced decorating advice & use their talents to create custom spaces that are tailored for you.
Lumar’s award-winning work has been extensively published in many major national & local publications including Canadian House & Home, Style at Home, Canadian Architecture & Design & Chloe Magazine. Their work has also been on HGTV’s This Small Space with celebrity designer Peter Fallico. More recently they have been on Rogers’ Daytime TV discussing design trends with Jacqueline Betterton & Jeff Moore, & have been featured as best Richmond Hill interior designers in KeyInteriorDesigners.com for their Richmond Hill & Aurora interior design projects.
They have also been honoured to participate in several high-end decorator show homes. In particular in 2004 & 2008 they decorated a space in each of the Junior League of Toronto’s prestigious show homes. In 2012 they completely transformed their Aurora Classic Project for the holidays. This was in support of the Pickering College Holiday Home Tour in Aurora, Ontario.
Raised in Toronto & friends since high school, Marisa & Luisa attendedUniversity of Toronto together & shortly after established their decorating business. As the business evolved they hired staff & moved into studio space. Over the years they have developed & fine-tuned relationships with the best manufacturers, suppliers & trades in the design industry. Their studio library is now one of the largest north of Designer’s Walk in Toronto. Their experience, style & wealth of resources allow their discerning clients to trust in Lumar’s ability to execute their visions.
