Joanne Jakab is an award-winning full service interior decorator professional with 15 years experience creating unique interiors for homeowners in Burlington, Oakville and the GTA. She is featured in the esteemed Key Interior Designers directory.
Joanne is the area’s only interior decorator whose work has been featured in print and broadcast media around the world. She provides complete residential design and remodeling services for prominent professionals and their families. She employees a residential design perspective when creating the interiors of commercial projects such as executive offices and lobbies.
Joanne interprets the unique experiences of her clients and weaves them into each design to reflect their tastes and desires. Her design philosophy is to infuse a local viewpoint with a global perspective to create inspired one of a kind homes – one room at a time, a complete remodel or a new custom build.

Among the services she offers are space planning, project management, colour consultations, and selection of everything from furniture to flooring. Jakab has significant experience custom designing cabinetry, furnishings and other design elements including carpeting.
Joanne is known for developing one-of-a kind, warm interior environments. Her business has grown to include the interiors of clients’ second homes in Muskoka, Collingwood and the Southern U.S. with many of her projects being designed for the friends and relatives of her original clients. Her primary design market is in Southern Ontario: Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga, and the Greater Toronto Area.
