During this project, our team was tasked to design a powered baby bottle dryer to eliminate the user-identified problem of filthy water accumulating in the corners of baby bottles. Our team explored a number of metaphors, eventually settling on that of a potted cactus, which jived nicely with a series of colorful bottle brushes we were developing with the same client.
This series of colorful bottle brushes incorporated unique nature-influenced looks and functions, encouraging customers to collect the entire "bouquet" of brushes, which could be stored between uses in this handy pot for drying.
The spines of the cactus were designed to be snappable and modular, allowing the user to increase the height and capacity of his/her drying rack.
